1985 mustang amp bypass help!

wow, an 85, it had the factory radio in it for a reason.... #1 - you need to remove the dash(the entire dash) to properly remove the radio. #2 - it has a common ground wiring system that does not go well with a floating ground radio that you are installing. The common ground radio that was in the car only had 1 ground for all 4 speakers, yours has 4 ground for 4 speakers. If you understand the system you can trace the ground wires and find where they are common(in the kick panels if I remember correctly), seperate the grounds and then run a new ground wire to the deck. The easiest way to get around it is just to run a new set of speaker wires to each speaker.
