and i agree they won't make your power sky rocket but they don't suck either. you have to give better reasons as to why they suck other than on your setup they didn't make any difference.

Not everyone is trying to build an Outlaw race car though. Different heads are good at different things.

all im saying is every design is copied in some way. thats how everything is. if you make something very good, someone will come in and try to improve it. thats all im saying. your acting like a true mustang owner should use copied stuff but everything is copy of something else in a way

In case you didn't read what i said, I said they won't make your numbers rocket like magazines show, but they do not suck. so far you have said they suck, and have nothing to prove that other than you didn't gain more power on your car. most people do notcie a difference. Did i say they are the best head available? no. Im just saying they are a good head for the average street and track guy. they don't suck. they are a good head that produce good results. i use the 185's and have been very happy with them. would another head possibly make more power? maybe. give the OP a good reason why they suck, don't just state that without anything backing it up

and i never claimed a stock cammed motor with 165's could make 400 horsepower. I don't believe the magazine hype. just saying they don't suck like you claim

my heads came to me new -.008 twisted, springs could handle a e-cam(which they said would...valve seats were junk in less than 10k miles...since i used to diecast alumnium/magnesium for ford/gm/honda...porosity was major after trying to mill them to get them straight....when you listen to the "right" people, and they show you how much money you lost in dumping into a set of brand new $1600.00 heads+ $1200.00 to make them right or the best they can be...you could of bought better for less

Okay you had a bad experience with them and yea i would be pissed too. All im trying to say is don't say that something sucks without explaining why. that doesn't help anyone. i don't think your experience is common and tons of people have had success with their head

ive had two reputable machinist tell me twisted wedge heads are no good. everyone has an opinion but i don't believe a popular product like afr and trickflow are junk just becasue a few people have had a bad experience with them. for the most part people have good success with AFR thats all i'm gunna say.
