Happened to me once. I just went to the junkyard and took one off a wrecked one.

Had to replace mine at 112k or so...The mechanic said my water pump was the cause of my blown headgasket lol...A $30 part ended up causing quite a bill.

I run an Edelbrock Victor but a NEW NAPA pump is a really good unit. I won't install a rebuilt unit
