Default Whats the difference with the cobra intakes?

They say they fit 87-93 but shouldn't they fit 94-95 as well? Any difference?

the fox cobra intake will not properly fit a 94-95, even with the elbow adapter.

the 93 cobra manifold has the EGR built in, and when combined with a SN95 adapter, the EGR for the Sn will no longer line up, the throttle cable MAY not reach, the TB is pushed out further towards the strut tower, strut tower braces wont fit properly...

plus, the cobra manifold isnt worth buying brand new... you can do better. If you want a GT-40 manifold, get one off an exploder

...Could also use a throttle cable from a Fox on a '94/95 if you do not want to use the elbow....I would start looking on the used market

but aftermarket intakes have the egr built in just like the cobra, there shouldnt be a real difference. i have my stock cables on my eddy rpm 2 intake with a elbow adapter, the elbow has a spot for the egr on it so i dont see how it wouldnt fit... mine bolted up fine. i left the egr on there...... had to stretch the pipe lol. it'll come off later when i go turbo

ive never seen a aftermarket intake that had the EGR spacer built in... di you have links... AFAIK the 93 cobra is the only one that does it. My TFS doesnt, i know the holley systemax doesnt, neither does the victor 5.0

i thought you were talking about the port that runs from the heads through the intake, to the egr spacer you gotta put on.
either way.... i wouldnt get a cobra intake, not really worth the money IMO. just save more and get a better one
if you want a cobra intake.... go sn style. these guys i found sell ported ones
