Default electrical question for a 93 lx vert 5.0

ok the battery was put on reversed polarity.anyway i burned out the fuselink line and something else ,does anyone have a schematic from the battery juice to the starter and what is inbetween the two to get it started ..cylenoid? what other fuseable lines might need replacing etc.... i have an 86 gt can i swap stuff till i find out what exactly got burned out ? thanks in advance

YOU COULD OF SHORTED ALOT OUT, there are a number of fusible links, I don't have any diagrams availible but goole it online and tons will come up will it not crank at all??

right i hooked it up and by passed the burnt wire but it would just crank not start now it won;t do that either so i am going to replace all the wiring and the stuff on the fender wall man what a stupid mistake unbelievable could not believe i didn't catch that..man all i needed was a stupid battery and now i need to invest more money and time to turn it over lol..oh well thanks how would i google it ..i mean how would i search it out ..thread it like 93 battery electrical

hey its a simple mistake, its a very easyone to do. yea its kinda funny but it sucks. you really could have alot of work ahead of you......

yeah but i was suppose to be showing my son how to do this i gave him the car and i have had mustangs since my first one in 85 ,i have had two 83 gts, an 87 gt ,an 88 lx 5.0, a 93 lx vert, and an 86 gt ,,and the 97 gt with all the toys,,and then this happens lol wow ..what a brain fart that day oh well love this site i belong to alot of mustang sites but i always get fast help here the other ones well posted 2 days ago and nothing oh well l8tr
