so on my 88 gt, im confused about the fact that it has forged internals, but people still say its not any stronger than the hyperbaric blocks, and to not exceed 425-450 hp. my 03 gt was putting down 390 hp on all stock internals?????

The block's weaknesses are not the same as the rotating assembly's weaknesses. It doesn't matter what rotating assembly you have(which is what is forged, considered forged internals), but if you exceed what the block can take, it will fail on you.

The pistons are the only thing that is forged, the crank and rods are cast. The block fails between 450 and 500hp. Buddy of mine has a 5.0 thats making 579hp. It is balanced, studded, girdled, balanced, balanced and balanced again, and I still tell him that thing is a time bomb. He rarely takes it above 3k RPMs.
