my car won't start??? Please Help me...
Hey guys, i had this problem back in the fall when I went to bring my car to the garage to store it for the winter, it died and ended up sitting on my lawn all winter...on top of the damage the winter caused to it, it still doesn't run but needless to say, its summer and i wanna get this problem addressed. So, here's whats going on.... You turn the key, the engin spins but its not getting any gas. You can't hear the fuel pump turning on. Im 110% positive that the fuel pump is in working condition because i took the gas tank out and checked it. I changed the relay under the drivers seat and I also made sure the inursha switch wasn't popped. What else could possibly be the problem? Could there be a loose wire somewhere? I bought a 91 Mustang (mine is an 89) to part out cause i need some other parts, i was thinking of just cutting out all my wires and replacing them with the 91's including the airbags, but thats alot of work and i figured i would give this another go before i made any drastic decisions...Any help with this would be greatly appreciated, Thanks in advance.....Nick

Lucky me, my volt meter doesn't work. But ill double check everything and see what i come up with...I actually have a 140mph speedo from my 91GT, maybe ill throw that in and see if the volt meter works on that one. Im thinking its a rip in a wire somewhere or maybe something grounding out. Basically the fuel pump isn't kicking on when you go to start the car....does anyone think it may be the ignition switch? I bought a new one but haven't thrown it in yet...thanks, Nick
