if youre gonna run a fan dont worry about running a switch inside the car. Buy a thermostatic fan switch. Along with that buy a 4 prog relay and if you buy the right one the fan switch will already have the fused link built in. Also get the switch that can be adjusted with a lil screw on the switch. The one i bought at advanced auto was preset at 165. This way you will never have to worry about remembering to turn it on or off and it always will come on when your car needs it. 30 amp fuse will be plenty, havent had a lick of problems yet. As far as the hot wire you will need for the relay, run into the windshield wiper motor wire(mine is a red wire, 87 fox). Easy install and works awesome.

OK so I finally made up my mind with all the info I gathered....

I'm gonna wire in 2) 30/40amp relays in parallel with each other. That'll make it an 60/80amp relay! And on the power wire. I'm gonna run an 40amp "glass" AGU fuse. Then run the 12v key-on to the rd/ltgn wire on the plug to the coil. So that the fan turns on and runs all the time with the key on. I'll run a red LED light to the inside of my car. That'll indicate that my fan is OFF..

Thanx for all the input and help guys!
