ect will cause that. It should smell like fuel when at idle. Also in the winter have a cold start problem.

so unplugging it should make the problem disappear if its the ect.

I don't think it works that way. Do what I said and replace it. It is a 25 dollar sensor.

Will this solve my idle roll or stop the codes from coming.

I dont really give a **** about the codes, i want the idle to dissapear rather then just make the codes stop, but my car idle like **** still.

I know it is lean, ghost white spark plugs... i want to solve the problem.. not make the codes dissapear ?

guess what? mine were too and they are tan now. and you know what else?????

yea
i have never seen an ect cause an idle roll but it can make the car run lean.
throwing parts at it may or may not fix it but since it was a code its worth a shot.
