Default KOER test, codes, and i couldnt get KOEO to work? help.. ( lean car )

So heres my story.

A) Tried to run a EO test today, and i got like 5 really random lights, not codes at all. I was confused, and trust me i checked the setup for an hour.

So i moved on, and ran the ER hoping id have some luck. And it worked! I got these codes:

21
41
91

So, ( im not lazy i looked them up )

21. ECT Sensor Out Of Self Test Range. 0.3 to 3.7 volts
41 - System Indicates Lean -passenger side
91 - o2 Sensor Circuit Indicates Lean -driver side

B)So, the first one, i have no idea what that sensor is, so please help.

And clearly i am running lean, i thought id check too, pulled a plug, it was pretty white. So yea, shes lean.

C)So wtf is that first sensor. And more info, i ran the ER test again, and didnt get the 21 code. Only a 41 and 91 again. Soo whats the deal there. The battery wasnt the normal one in the car, so it may have been a connection issue with the batt.

D)Also, how do i fix this lean issue. And for the love of god, do not say vacuum leak, my car has an idle roll ( which i was hoping to solve with this test ) and i have checked everywhere for a year ( random times ) for different vacuum leaks.)

E)So if anyone has seen a 41 and 91 alot, and knows what usually fixes this, please feel free to add some input!

Once again, thanks guys!!

put some contact grease on the engine coolant temp sensor. If that doesn't fix it, replace it. Your other codes should go away then. If not, you may need 02 sensors or have a problem elsewhere.

i know, mine never gave an ect code. I did a wiggle test and found the connection was bad. Added some grease and the 41 and 91 went away.

just because your car shows those codes doesn't mean the car is running lean. It means the sensors are getting lean voltage.

Open your hood and look to the left of the distributor. There is a metal pipe that turns down into your intake. The sensor that is connected to that pipe is your ect. You cant miss it and will need maybe 2 wrenches and 5 minutes to replace it if needed.

i do not believe an ect will cause a rolling idle and no affects to driving.
