go to camshaftinnovations and talk to him about what cam you should run. get a 76mm c&l MAF (for 30 lb injectors), 75mm accufab or BBK TB, 30 lb injectors, and then talk to jay allen about a good cam & spring & intake combo to make good power. there is a lot left on the table

For an N/A build your shorties are probably holding you back a lot. I'd change over to long tubes for sure, and change to a different manifold like the edelbrock rpm 2 or the holley systemax. A Trick Flow Track Heat or their R series manifold would be good as well. The BBK manifold looks cool, but from what I've seen it doesn't flow too well. Definitely change to a bigger throttle body as well.

while the numbers seem a bit low the first thing I ask is it a automatic or a stick? Don't forget the AODs eat up some HP.what was the timing set at what was the fuel press. set at what size Mass air is on this thing? when you put the cam in did you just throw it in or did you degree it in? I would not really worry to much about the HP numbers take it to the track and see what it runs first.

Is everyone that blind?? Screw the cam, It's pretty decent for that combo. The very FIRST thing you need to do is get those small tube shorty headers off those AFR 185's. You are absolutly suffocating it. Get a set of 1-3/4 long tubes and you will see it wake right up. An engine has to exhale as well as inhale.

+1, long tubes and a 70-75mm TB. It would probably add 30 horses or more.

Okay Iam going to do this step by step first I will change the headers to the long tubes and up the throttle body.
Then I will do a dyno run and see what the numbers look like.

I appreciate all the insight , I will take it all into consideration , and I will post the results accordingly

Thanks

G

the car is 5-speed manual.. 373 gears rear / t-5 trans first gear 2.95
