a couple T5 questions

The build kit,Bearings and synchros is cheap.Build it yourself. If you are going to play with cars the best way to do it it is yourself.
They are fairly easy to build and parts even gears are not too bad.I built one with a broken second gear and the gear was like $80.
When I was young I couldn't afford to pay people(Still WON'T!) and had to give all of this stuff a shot.Follow basic safety measures and do some research and you can do it!
Gear swaps,Engine builds,Trans builds,Electrical. All learned by owning turds in my younger years. Now I do it for a living.I don't suggest a career change but believe me with a little research this stuff can be done by most folks with some mechanical knowledge and some decent tools.

please correct me if i'm wrong. according to http://www.veryuseful.com/mustang/te...Identifier.gif most of the t5's will not handle over 300lb of torque. so if i'm going to have a build to about 350hp most of those will end up breaking??? although i've read/saw somewhere that they will handle up to 500hp. i dont want to break 500hp on a daily conv car but 300 would be comfortable.

it depend's on how you treat it.
alot of guy's are pushing good power, over 300, and there T5's are fine.
my buddy here has a S-trim procharger at 11PSI, and now 14PSI after a year and a half, and it's still fine.
