your timing is probably F'ed

pull your spout connector and see if it cranks easier

sOrry for jacking your thread but my starter on my 5.0 is a rebuilt one I had bought becuse my old one messed up an this starter seems to be loud! What advise do you guys have for this problem? Thanks in advance!!!!
