I need help on locating the water pressure sender unit below the lower manifold on my 87 vert because I'm thinking of buying a water pressure gauge because my water temp gauge on my dash doesn't work!! Any advice and diagrams d be greatly appreciated!!

wtf are you talking about?? water pressure sensor??. you mean temp sending unit??

A mechanic I know says inorder to install a water tempature gauge then you need to locate the sending unit..? So how do you install this gauge?

well than say so...no such thing as a water pressure sensor, anyway, the sending unit is a one wire sensor at the front left corner of the lower intake manifold., remove it and install your new sender there

Is there any sort of piks of this unit so I can spot it? It's on the left side when you open the hood?
