Not to hijack or go off topic, but after seeing all the issues you have been having and others guys build the "perfect combo" to only have it torn down a short while after, I am glad I have decided to keep my engine mostly stock and just enjoy driving my car. It seems like the more I mod, the more I want to mod and the less I enjoy my car. I hope all work out for ya, sorry I couldn't help
twice , same spots? i would def. get an entirely different short block.two meltdowns would be my limit to 1 engine.keep the injection i dont think thats it.
I deff won't be using the same type of piston this time around.
Its called, stay away from the juice! Probably the reason the trans is going south also.
I've never used it!
the trans is already gone, i was about to pull it this weekend and do my 5sp swap, well thats going to get done when i put the whole new motor in, lol.
If my **** is just going to blow up in another 1000 miles... i might as well just replace it now!
but i seem to be the only one that has problems.
i think i'm just jinxed.
should I just sell the car as a project/roller and invest in a, dare i say it, ls1?
haha yeah right that'll never happen
