I am running the afr 185 outlaw heads and the bbk ssi Intake... On a 331 Stroker.
The suggestions I got from this board and others was that the intake was not the best.. I recently changed to Systemax ll and changed the shorty hearders to long tubes...

Oh ---what a difference. Night and day difference...

Good luck ,

G

I was thinking the BBK Performance SSi-R intake and the AFR 185cc SBF Outlaw heads.

Ok ok, I'm picking up what you're putting down. I assume you're on board with the AFR heads I listed. What intake is a good match with those heads?

well, your missing alot of information here. First off, we have asked several times WHAT AFR HEADS..

things that you need to decide on.
#1 your power level. 375-400hp isnt going to be done cheaply on a 302/306
#2 your budget. $2000-$2500 isnt going to make 400hp without boost
#3 the actual CID you want to run. (the 205cc AFR heads I want to run on my 347 just arent going to be a good choice on an N/A 302)

once you figure out this information, we can proceed

are we talking rwhp?

are you sticking with afr's? 185's with a holleyII or maybe a tfs-r,and super vic efi would be great intakes even the rpmII,and victor 5.0 would be nice.

your goal is reachable...10.1 306 afr 185's custom cam holleyII matching gear netted me 11's with a 3300lb car...
