clutch adjustment on 95?
i have a 95 mustang gt. When i purchased the car the prior owner had a Ford Racing double hook quadrant and firewall adjuster put in. the clutch release and engagement have always been on the high side of the pedal movement for the past 15 months ive owned the car. The centerforce stage 2 is still very strong, doesn't slip, chatter etc. Should i adjust the clutch, correct me if im wrong but doesn't a lower clutch engagement and disengagment a better thing to have? If i were to adjust it, what happens if i turn the firewall adjuster clockwise or counter clockwise? It may sound like a dumb question but i didn't purchase this so i have no idea, its also the first non hydraulic clutch car ive had. Also while messing around with it i noticed theres only one screw holding it to the fenderwell, it seems like there is a slot for a second srew to go in but there is no hole to screw it in to. Do i have to drill a whole for the second screw or is one ok. I did wigle it around and its not moving but id like to be sure, i try not to be a perfectionist. But like i said i didnt install this so i really dont know. Thanks in advance, Jay.
