Default Well

Well i currently own a 94 mustang V6 and i plan on swaping it to a 5.0 In july but i have a few questions, Will my stock t5 tranny bolt up to a 5.0, I know my tranny won't last long with a stock 5.0 but im not to worried about that yet, I'm going to swap the rear end for a 8.8. I'm on a budget so i'm trying to swap it for as cheap as i can. So my question is will a stock 5.0 bolt up to my tranny, Some people tell me it wont and alot of people say it will.

as long as your 94-95 T5 is using the 94-95 bell housing, then yes. it will work.

no, 94-95 have longer input shafts making them different that pre 94 t5's.

and not all t5's are created equal. thay all have different torque capacities, gearing ect. ect....

with a 94-95 t5 and a 94-95 bell housing...it will work.

but lets say...a 94-95 t5 and a 92 bell housing = no go. does that clear it up?
