Edelbrock flows alot over stock intakes. So your computer, if not reset, is still adding fuel based on your stock.
A vacuum leaks sounds like a problem but also reset your computer.
Disconnect the battery for 15-20 mins then reconnect and run it afterwards...see if that helps.
