Default battery relocation help.

Hi guys just finished battery relocation. I have one question though i installed a kill switch in the rear but it doesn't work. I already know its my alternator charge wiring thats keeping the motor going. I have the 3g alternator upgrade.

My question is do i have to install a diode so it doesn't go back? I did as the instructions said for the 3g alternator to have those 2 eyelits also going to the same stud as the charge wire. Do i move those 2 wires that go to the stud for the alternator? I'm not having any charging problems just cut of switch not working? any help is appreeciated

You need to run the alt feed on the starter relay to the battery side of your cut off switch. Make sure you use the same gauge or bigger wire for the run to the rear of the car.

hi thx for the reply. K sry i don't understand what your saying there. Alt feed wiring meaning charge wire, if so run it to battery side of cut off switch. Well right now its directly at the battery so that would be the same thing no?

Post a diagram of how you've wired yours up.

i finally figured it out. I upgraded my alternator to the 3 g style and by following instructions had 2 eyelets that went to the battery stud where the charge wire went. it was feeding those 2 eyelets thus kill switch didn't work. Moved those 2 wires to a power source after kill switch now works good.
