Backfire After Kenne Bell Install
OK, engine runs fine, idels great, and revs up great, but when I took it for a test drive I got an occassional back fire, didn't go but around the block and didn't even get out of third gear. With that said, I'm fairly sure it might be the timing but want a second opinion. I believe the timing is at 10, and not 15 as stated, but I have a question, is timing read from the center of that little u in the timing marker, or is it read from the very top of the marker. If it's from the center then the timing is 10, if it's from the top then it's 15.
Also, there was no pinging at idel or while driving, engine temp has held steady at just under 200 degrees f. and my vacuum read 18 hg. Now where in the hell do I plug in my boost gague to measure boost, because the hole I pluged it into read 18 hg at idel.

Oh, fuel pressure is a steady 35 psi at idel, and just over 40 when reving up.
Oh, also, if somebody could upload a pic as to where the timing is read, that would be the most helpful.

Well I reved it up to 5000 RPMs, in neutral, and no pinging at all, my hearing isn't so great, but I had my cousin stand in front of the engine with the hood up, and he didn't hear anything.
