Default 92 thunderbird or 83 mercury Capri

Well I'm looking into buying one of the two parts cars, a 92 thunderbird sport coupe or a 83 Capri rs. The thunderbird has a h.o 302 with a c4aod tranny and the capri is a carbed h.o motor with a T-5. The thunderbirds rings are going out but I have a 89 gt motor that is missing the ecu. The Capri's flywheel and clutch need replaced. I already have a Capri that I want to put everything in. both of the cars bodies are unrepairable. I would prefer the fuel injection to the carb but I was wondering how much of the thunderbird's parts I could use in my car?

sport coupe? Are you refering to the SC in the name? Well do you want to have an auto or a 5 speed setup?

Well I want the t-5 because I'm building it for roadracing but the one in that Capri is really beat up and I'd assume just saving up for a t-56 that my friend is holding for me and as for the t-bird it's actually just called a thunderbird sport sorry for the confusion.

The 92 thunderbird didn't have a c4 in it either. But who knows because the OP said it was a c4aod.
