I am looking to upgrade my iginition system.

I ran across this HEI Dizzy and was wonder if anybody has any experience with this type of setup

yes it'll work, my friend has one in his 65 fastback, but IMO the gm dizzy looks hideous in a ford since the dizzy is at the front and th HEI dizzy is huge in comparisson with the ford dizzy and it's the first thin your eyes see when you pop the hood this huge hideous dizzy ftl!!!

I used to say "Get a Crane Pro Curve" but Crane went chapter 7 and no longer exists. You could check Summit and Jegs to see if they still have some in stock, they probably do.

The GM style HEI is pretty popular. It seems to work well, and is reall easy to install. Price isn't bad either. As for looks, well..... that's a personal choice.

I talked to the folks at summit last year about the crane distributer. They stopped selling it becuase they had so many returns for faulty parts.
