so what I thought was a starter issue may not be, would like another opinion though, when i go to start the car it sounds like it is going to turnover but just dies and doesnt start. It takes about 5-10 turns of the key before it does actually fire up. Could this be the starter or something else?

yea im almost positive its not the battery, it doesnt sound like its losing power or struggling to start up, its more like it starts up but dies right away and it does this about 5-10 times before it actually starts, and its worse when its cold outside or I havnt been driving it for a while (like a matter of hours)

I'm not understanding what your trying to say it will turn over and it will fire but it will not stay running can you hear the fuel pump? how long has it been since it had a tune up? can you make a video up so we can better understand what your talking about

check the fuel pressure for bleed down...you'll need a gauge to confirm this

yeah, thats pretty much it, it will fire up normally and it sounds like its firing up normally but then it just dies right away, like its not getting enough gas or something...

Have you done the fi no start check list? I.e. checking for spark, fuel, and etc.?
