Default 24lbs. injector problem!!!!!

I just installed a set of 24's with a mass air flow calibrated for 24's. The car runs great when at higher rpms, but it would not idle. I have the fuel pressure set at 38 and after it cuts off, it takes a while to start. It almost sounds like its flooding, I have to keep the gas pedal down to get it start again. Is the injestors to big or what????? I'm stuck please help. The TPS sensor is at .98

I think you should have 24#ers because of the 100 shot of nitrous.

what kind of mass air meter do you have?
if it is one with a sample tube, make sure the smaller side faces the filter.

I think that my mass air is not correct. The plugs didn't match so I hooked up the 4 wires directly to the new one. I think it was out of a diferent year ford. On the other hand I see a big diference with the 24's. The car is much more responsive. Now that I have the 19's back in it feels very slugish. I think that I just need the corect mass air for the correct year and the right calibration. What do you guys think?

Whether or not you need the 24's depends on the type of NOS kit you have. With a dry kit, you need the 24's because the extra fuel to go with the nitrous is fed through the injectors. If a wet kit, you don't need them because the extra fuel is supplied with the nitrous.

If using a wet kit, I'd get rid of the 24's...for now.

Well last night a friend of ine installed 24's on his car with a new MAF and the car ran fine. He has a lot less mods than I do, so I'm ruling out the too much gas theory. I still think that the MAF I have is not correct. Anyone know where I can get a good 24 MAF for a good price? I just can't trust e-bay. That is what I have now and I think it is not the correct one.

Go to http://www.50resto.com/ and find the C&L 76mm MAF Kit with the truflow pipe, I've heard that it's worth the extra bucks. And remember you get what you pay for.
