Default Possible Transmission Problems

The other day I was driving my car. I have an automatic by the way. I was accelerating extremely slow. When the car went to shift from first gear to second, it seemed like it was getting stuck and didnt know where to go. It was a loud knocking sound near where the transmission is. When I accelerate fast it doesn't happen. But even before when I used to accelerate slow this didn't happen. Why is this happening all of a sudden. I change my tranny fluid regularly. Should I try to add some Lucas oil transmission fluid to it? Please help.

Yes I always keep the filter changed... My car has 119,000 miles. It still runs real strong, but the trans is scaring me.

Sounds like it's time for a tranny rebuild. Also, before anything else, get underneath your 'stang and check both, your front and rear u-joints, when's the last time that you replaced your u-joints?.

Check to see if your TV cable is properly attached to the tranny.

this sounds more like an internal problem you wouldn't get knocking from the transmission if the TV cable wasn't adjusted properly.
