Default Making plug wires...

My dad picked up 100 feet of 7mm yellow high performance plug wire made my Standard Motor Products, with the distributor plugs and caps and the spark plug end plugs and caps (he got all of it for free). I have everything, as of now, to make new spark plug wires and I was wondering if these will work better than my stock wires or if I should even bother making them. Any input please.

lol, his buddy had them at work and was just giving the stuff away, all the information that i have on them is what is the info on the plug wires, they're supposed to be high performing wire but idk, I guess it wouldn't hurt to try them out until I get some new MSD or FRPP racing wires.

What do you mean distributors with points, I guess that means go with the MSD or ACCEL wires right? Accel in my book is not an offbrand.

long time ago car used points in the dist... damn I feel old...and your right thier now an off brand...you want to plug wire with the least resist....not the biggest wire but alot of the time there one in the same...msd is like 35-50 ohms per foot those ford wire are a 200+ ohms per foot
