There's a connection for an electrical speedo(as well as the mechanical hookup) and also a neutral safety switch and a reverse light switch.

The pigtail at the rear of the trans on the driver's side is neutral safety, the 2 prong dealy on the side of the case on the driver's side is reverse light, the hole with the gear is mechanical speedo(duh) and on the passenger side is a deal sticking out(kinda L shaped) for electronic speedo pickup.

Just to clarify the neutral switch is for the computer. Not to keep the saftey switch to keep the car from starting.
