Default Torque Converter Question

I drive an 89 gt and was wondering if i should go for a 2000 stall or the 2400 stall in a torque converter. I'm leaning towards the 2400 cause of the amount of torque i am hoping to make in the future but all i have on it now are headers, exhaust, caster/camber, intake, sway bar, and shift kit. Will it be to uncomfortable if i go with the 2400? or is 2400 a good idea? also which brand do you all think is top of the line in the converter alley? thanks!

those are small stalls even for a stock motor. i ran a 3000 on a stock motor and seen good results. 2000 you wont notice anything. you should probably look around 2600 for a true stock motor for mods go about 2800. im running a 3200 now with my new setup

i got a B&M 3000 holeshot used for around 3k miles. will sell it for 200 bucks.......reason for selling it bought a complete Strip/street comp tranny that came with a 3200 stall

Stock converters generally stall at 2000 anyhow...
