Default Shifting points

I got a 1994 Mustang GT 5 speed with bbk shorttube headers and i was just wondering what would be the best rpm to shift the car at.

Start at 5K and experiment from there...all depends on your gears too...

I've found with my 5.0 the best shiftpoints are anywhere from 5,500 to 5,800 rpms.

Adyno graph would be the best way to pick shift points. Too bad they cost.

You want to shift at a point that will take the RPM's down to your peak tourque level when you go to accelerate in the next gear. Any higher of a shift is a waste of gas, a loss of power and just plain abuse for your engine.
