Default Close up pic of open notch trunk?

hey all, my trunk lid wont stay open, and im trying to see why, i only have 1 of those 2 bars connected, if theres even supposed to be 2. i need to see/know how it holds open, if anyone could help. thanks!

yes there are two, mine won't staay open either, but then again mine has a saleen wing on it

you can adjust those 2 rods to put more tension on it to make it stay up.

yeah, but my 2nd isnt going into anything, one goes to the quarter panel, and then the hinge, wheres the 2nd one go

I don't remember, but I will look tomorrow and let you know. I have a big carbon fiber wing on mine and the lid stays up with no problem.

i have a saleen wing on my vert and it stays up fine, ill see about taking a pic for you of my notch trunk give me like 10mins

so where do you do the adjusting on these, never messed with mine on my notch but if I can get it to hold my saleen wing up i'LL GIVE IT A TRY

There are different "slots" if you will for adjustments. They do not appear in these pics, but if you look to see where the bars fit in, you will see multiple slots you adjust. I have mine set that the trunk pretty much just pops open once unlocked.
