Default A/C Issue Please Help!

Okay So I have an issue My A/C died and when I started with my situation the compressor would not kick on at all so I asked a buddy and he said it could be your control switch so i bought a control switch and nothing happen then my air would only come thru the windshield vents and i found out i had a broken vaccum line I went ahead and replaced that and now we have the air flowing thru its normal places and the control to my understanding works cause it allows me to change the direction and speed and hot or cold. So i decided to disconnect my compressor and check the wire for current and I noticed I got nothing no current so i went looking for busted fuses but found nothing so with that being said can anyone help me out please I'm at a lost and I live in vegas so i need a freaking A/C

Is the air blowing, but it's not cold air? Or is no air blowing at all anymore? Which vacuum lines were replaced?

its air blowing but not from the compressor and the vaccum line that was replaced was the one running from the fire wall into this small black box looking thing!

Default A/C

Is there freon in the car?
If so you have a low pressure and a high pressure switch that needs to be checked. If you have freon hot wire the compressor to see if the air works. If it does you need to check the electrics of the system

first make sure there is freon in the system!!!!!!!!!!! the low pressure switch will not allow the compressor to come on if charge is low

Pull the pressure switch connector off of the switch,Start the car and fire up the A/C and then cross the terminals in the connector with a paperclip.See if the compressor come on.That will eliminate the compressor and the electrical system. That would leve you with just a low freon condition or a faulty pressure switch/connector.

how did you verify there was a proper amount of freon in it?? and please don't tell me you depressed the charge port and it shot out so therefore the proper amount is in it., you need gauges on it to see what the high side and low side readings are...if the compressor isn't coming on the readings side to side will be almost equal.
