exhaust/bumber question

i have a 87 gt i just got a flowmaster cat back off an lx from a shop in town, any body have pics of how they cut there bumper to make it work? im gunna get a cobra bumper later on but for now id like to see what u guys got

I would just run without the tail pipes until you get the cobra bumber. IMO cutting the gt bumper cover to rail the pipes out the back looks stupid. I have seen people cut notches in them, cut holes and run the pipes thru the holes, and tilt the pipes down a little just to clear and none of them looked good.

Just dump those flows!

DON'T DO IT! It looks dumb. I bought my car and that is what the previous owner did and it sucks. I too and going to get a cobra bumper so for now I will have to suffer through it. I don't have any pics of it to post because I avoid showing the rear of the car in photos. Just get the cobra rear and put the pipes on at the same time, is what I suggest.
