I have a 1991 5.0 with 140,000 miles and it can go as far as you can take it! lol, it'll be fine just as long as you take care of it and as long as the car hasn't been TOO badly abused. Otherwise, if it's for a good price go ahead and buy it, I love mine and I'm sure that you will love yours.

Do not take it for 4,000 dollars unless this car is in PRISTINE condition. Like perfect paint, perfect interior, no defects in engine or transmission. Other wise IMO you are paying too much for the car, try and talk him down to like $3,000.00. If you're looking for a 5.0 and you can't talk this guy down in price, keep looking, you'll find a good one for a better price. I'm 16 and this is my first car.

alright, try and talk him down to 3,500 dollars, that's a damn nice lookin car but it's still got some miles on it. I don't even think that you are going to need new paint and rims, it looks good as is.
