Default Do you think my fuel pressure gauge is shot?

I have a VDO FP gauge that attached right on the rails. Car has been in storage for the past couple (OK, several) years. The gauge is at about 38 whether the car is running or not. Should this be the case, or is the gauge froze up?

I don't want to screw with the FP on the car to find out, as it's still pretty decent after all these years.......

Chances are then after 5 years the gauge shouldn't still read 38 then, huh...[:@]

Guess it's time to check around for a new one[X(]
