Well i finally installed my e-fan and pullys (crank & pump) this weekend and i now think i'm going go upgrade the alternator. I called the local pep boys and they want 200 bucks for a new 130 amp alternator, does that sound like a good price? Are there any sites online that have better deals?

i paid 150 for my powermaster 140 amp. its hepaer then a 3g and easier to hook up and no modifying of the stock bracket

I paid 250 canadian for mine, damn, if I knew the powermaster was cheaper I would have gotten it.

you will also need some 4 gauge wire and a 140/150 amp fuse.

www.50resto.com has PA alternators. Supposedly they are good.

They also have a connector that converts our cars to accept 3G alts.

some powermasters are more but if you get the plain finish like i did its the cheapest one. others are like 180 and such.

you can get them on eBay for cheaper then that check around some more
