Default Rebuilding rear, any suggestions, missing anything?

Did a favor for a friend and he is going to rebuild my rear for me in return.

I brought the rear to swap into my fox but wanted to upgrade it before i installed it, the rear is out of a 1997 Cobra, has either 3.55's or 3.73's and one of those aluminum diff covers.

Ford Racing 8.8" 31 Spline Traction Lok Differential M-4204-F318C Carbon-Fiber Plates
from blueovalindustires.com
and
31 spline ford racing axles: http://www.blueovalindustries.com/pr...p?pid=99012819

The price on the axles seem a little steep, is it worth getting a cheaper set or are the ford racing ones worth the money.

The rear will remain a disk rear, going in an 89 fox, power goals will be 500 to the wheels come the fall.

(the axles say they come with the o rings, is that reffering to the axles seals or do i need to buy some of those as well)

Thanks.

it is. about 10 mm (5 per side) but ill squeeze it in nonetheless. Original plan was an inexpensive disk brake conversion, at this point thats out the window but theres enough money into it already that i want to finish it rather then just converting my current 8.8 to disk.

So far my plan is
The 03-04 cobra tracklok
moser (slightly cheaper then the ford racing) 31 spline axles
the bearing/gear install kit that 50resto.com sells.

And if i can get the cash together,
the torque arm/panhard/lower control arm kit from MaxMo and kyb shocks/spring combo from 50resto.com

Buy new axle seals. The o rings they are referring to are probably the ones where the c clip slot is, they make the c clip sit a bit more snug.

I'm running strange 31 spline axles and I got them for 250 directly from strange. They don't sell them with studs, though, so add on another 10-15 bucks.

I'm also running strange 10-way shocks instead of the KYBs I used to run, IMO better. Why not just go coilover with that rear?
