sometimes when i first start her up and the light is off, then ill drive for a little while and it will come on, be on for a while then go off, then a minute later come back on. I'm thinking the 02's are going bad but i dont know for sure has anyone else had this problem or have any suggestions besides pulling and checking them?

i have the same problem but the light only gos on when i hit the throttle. i have heard it could be the egr senser. but im not sure what that is.lol. the car runs fine so i dont really care.

I had the same problem a little while ago. My "check engine" light would come on and then go off, and then come back on. My problem was a messed up sensor (not sure of the name, I think it was called a BAP, it is near the back of the engine bay) it was going out and I just had to replace it. It was like 40 bucks to replace, but fixed the problem.

I'm not sure on how to check for it though. I had to take it to the shop I always go to, and they just hooked up my car to the computer and said that the sensor was coming up as being off. Good luck.

Yeah buf, mine did pretty much exactly what yours did. I would gas it hard on it would come on or go off, depending if it was already on. It didn't seem to be running any worse when it was occurring either.

yea its running the same and i figured if the if the car was running a little more rich or lean cause of the 02's i prolly wouldnt even notice. And its not even really when i get into the gas it just comes on a few minutes after driving it. I prolly just need to have it looked up.
