More disk brake conversion questions

Getting ready to order the brake specific parts for my axle rebuild/5 lug 4d conversion.
I'll be using a 97 cobra rear, and then will (down the road) be running 97 cobra front brakes.

Question 1: any advantage/disadvantage to running a 94/95 cobra MC over a 93 cobra or just 94/95 GT Master Cylinder.

Question 2: Am i going to run into issues upgrading the MC/Proportion Valve and staying with the stock front brakes for now

Question 3: Can i swap 97 Cobra 13 inch brakes and calipers onto 94-95 GT spindles?
Thanks, N/A

i'm not 100 percent on this as i too am in the middle of my 5 lug conversion as you can see a few post down

1. supposedly the 94/95 cobra master cyc are suppose to give you a softer pedal due to the smaller bore(15/16) than the sn95 or the 93 cobra, but good luck finding one, i just recently looked and had no luck, maybe ford dealer.

2. yes, you need to install the adj prop valve and gut a 94/95 prop valve to properly disperse brake pressure to the back brakes, even if the front ones are still stock

3. I believe so but i'm not sure

The 93-95 cobra mc and booster can be purchased at any F/L/M dealer, same with the proportioning valves.

Yes the cobra discs and calipers will work on any sn95 spindle. As long as you have all the parts including brackets.

The stock fox front calipers require less fluid volume than the cobra calipers in order to work, you may have issues but I don't know if having the sn95 proportioning will make it work or not. Your planning on running two 5 lug wheels and two 4 lug wheels? You cant use a 5 lug hub with stock fox calipers.

yeah, but is it really that much of a difference? compared to the gt/v6?

Honestly dont know. Might even be the same.

yeah thats what i was thinking. i'm gonna try the 94/95 mc and if i don't like it or think its too hard of a pedal than i'll go buy the 93 cobra mc or the 94 cobra mc

yeah, its just for the time being, putting a good amount of money in the rear, then the drivetrain. Im going to do the front suspension and motor at the same time. Probably in the spring, or next summer.

More fluid should be balanced by the disks in the back?
or at least still work?
