Default newbie with questions

finally got my 5.0! now i just have a few questions for ya guys. im looking to mod right away. whats the first thing you would rec. the car is bone stock execpt headers and borla exhaust. ive been told 373 gears are a great early mod but i dont know what size the rear end is. are all 88 5.0's 8.8? and how easy is a gear change ive heard there easy then gms cuz you dont have to pull the axles. any answers would be apprecated. thanks

before doing anything, I suggest converting your car from Speed Density to Mass Air. You won't be getting very far otherwise. Gears are a good modification, and they aren't really expensive either. Once you convert the car to mass air, then worry about doing upgrades.

look for a tbird turbo in the junkyard the auto cars have disc brakes and 3.73 gears

wHO THE CRAP TOLD you axles on mustangs don't come out for gear swap?? wrong, they do have to come out and if you've got no experience installing gears = not for the beginneer.....pay someone to do that mod or whine they will, as well will you too.
