Whats up first post, not the first problem.
iv got a 92 lx 5.0 with eldlbrock intake afr heads 70mm throttle body bbk shortys, 306 with flat tops, and a big cam (unknown specs).

iv had issues with vacume leaks which i have resolved finally, then i had fuel pump issues (first dead, then wouldnt turn off) also resolved.

now my new problem, a nasty clicking somewhere in the top rear of the engine. it started happening after i did i quick high accelerating run to about 100mph. the car still drives normally and idles well. but the clicking is bad and gets worse with rpm.

my check engine light had also gone on 2 days before this happened, i dont have anything to read the codes.

any help as what to do or check would be great.

but out of pure guessing i would think this would be a problem in one of the heads?

google DIY KOER for code pulling, and for the tick, make sure you didn't blow a header gasket

i was thinking the same thing. header gasket. the knocking noise will be loud if you blew one.

im beginning to think its a gasket also, i red the KOER* that is priceless information thanks. what would be the way of checking this out???
