Default Coolant Leaking From Tb

I noticed this a while back when I installed my new tb, but it barly leaked so I diddnt Think its that bad. Well yesterday I wanted a better look so I took off the CAI, and there was coolent all throughout it all the way to my air filter! The tb is leaking from the open close part, and all sides of the gasket are waterlogged with green coolent. I have not taken the tb off to check the gasket due to the fact that its new and im lazy. Do any of you guys know whats going on here? could it be bad? thx

you didnt have the tight enough so the coolant is leaking int eh EGR plate so you need to get new gasket and you can always put gasket maker on it to make a tight fit

it could be that maybe the car is overheating.. thermostat not opening perhaps.. that happened to me and the coolant was leaking all over the place

I bet he shure cleaned his engine out! An old trick they used to do on carbed cars is to slowly pour water down the carb on a hot engine. The steam cracked the carbon up and cleaned the engine.

Thx for all the input guys, I might need a new thermo due to the fact that my engine seems to be really hot after only like 10 minutes of driving. is a new thermo an expensive part? as for the coolent flowing out of my tb and into my cai, will it cause long term damage or make it rust? later on tonight im gonna check the gasket, (after a 6-pack or two) and check for damage. Is it normal for the engine to warm up and go to the halfway mark on the gauge so fast?
