Default stock intake flow

how well does a stock intake flow?

gonna put on gt 40 heads and an ecam. should i also upgrade the intake?

It sure would help if you did. The stock intake is not bad, it's just that an aftermarket intake will flow better. If you do, I would upgrade to a 70mm TB and 73mm MAF as well.

Aftermarket or even a Cobra/Explorer GT40 type intake would wake that combo up. If you don't have the cam yet, go with something more modern than an E cam although an E cam will run pretty decently.

what cam would u recommend(this is a daily street motor..once or twice a month on the strip)
