Default bent core support

passenger side

driver side

crack on passenger side framerail infront of swaybar

my original plan was to make this my DD/show/auto cross on weekends car. and also there is a couple of holes smashed into the floor pan. it looks like someone tried driving through some woods. should i abandon this POS? can i take a sledge hammer to the bottom of the passenger side core support and straighten it out, and can i just weld the crack in the frame? Or what about the passenger side swaybar mount? it looks like it got smashed and welded crappyly. will this car be able to be straight? please give me your opinionsholding off on renting welder so smooth engine bay and install subframes.

i've seen a lot worse. i think its fixable. take it to a frame shop, so they can make sure its straight, then weld/bang out the bent part and then drive it like you stole it.

Yes you can fix it. I wouldnt junk it. You can have it measured out to make sure its straight at a shop. Thats #1 otherwise you will have issues later down the line. Looks like someone has already replaced the core support once before. The crack in the frame can be welded just make sure you add some sort of corrosion protection on the front and backside of the welds. Good luck!!
