i think the 3.8 will win i have a 5.0 and a 2001 3.8 with k-n intake and true dual flowmasters and i kept up with a 2000 gt with a lot of mods so if she can drive half way decent she will beat you

she don't know how to drive lol, by the time i get around to race her i'll have more under the hood too so I'm not worried, and the guy in the GT must not have known how to drive...

Did the 2000 GT know it was in a race??? lol. My 2nd car is a 95 5 speed integra with only an intake and I beat my friends '01 3.8 mustang by at least 10 car lengths. He has a vert with CAI and dual exhaust, but on 20 inch rims-but I have 18's on the integra and it slowed mine down a lot.(even though it was already slow-it has ZERO tourque off the line) So, I don't know man. My integra is pretty slow and I got him pretty good, but the cars in my race are way different than the cars in your race. In your case, I think you'll still definately win, as long as your runs good.

Oh yeah man it runs like a beast still, like I said I'm not worried. Especially if it's a pull from 75 MPH, like on the highway or somethin, she won't be able to keep up.

My friends 2000 Mustang V6 manual stock ran a 15.96 but he usually ran 16.2's-16.3's. You should have no problem.
