Default rear tires keep rubbing HELP

I HAVE A 92 MUSTANG GT WITH LAKEWOOD LOWER CONTRULE ARMS N HAD MY UPPERS FLIPED N WELD A PIECE IN TO STIFFEN THEM UP. I JUAT PUT 17IN CROBRA R RIMS ON WITH 275/40/R17 TIRES AND THEY RUB ON EVERY BUMP.... I NEED TO KNOW WHAT TO DO TO HELP FIX THIS ASAP THANKS

hopefully your quad shocks are already gone........


normally some light hammering on the inner fender is all it need's. But some have to roll the outer fender too.

gotta find out where it's hitting.

here r the rims i have Style: 1995 Cobra R Finish: Chrome
Size: 17x9 Centercap Size: Large (2-1/2")
Back Spacing: 5.71" (145mm) Offset: +18mm (0.71")
Bolt Pattern: 4x4.25" (4x107.95mm) Fitment: 87-93 LX, GT,
Excludes SVT Cobra it says they would fit i do have large tires on the rear 275/40/17 is that 2 big? should i get something smaller? also the rear looks 2 sit very low ( stock springs) and high iup front?

Lower control arms with adjustable spring perches can definitely help. Are lakewood's adjustable? My MM arms fixed my rubbing issue, but then again it was only minimal rubbing even when at the lowest setting. After a slight adjustment the only time it ever rubs is the extreme rare occasion of 4 people in the car when changing a large grade.
