yeah it runs.ive been driving it for a year now.one of my friends used to own it back in 03 and has changed hands a bunch since then.and no one knows anything about this motor.im kinda stumped on this one.it has all mustang brackets on the motor but the intake isnt stamped with the h.o under the plate on top,and its running the regular 302 firing order.ive been stumped for awhile and it dont have any ***** either.and one of my friends bought a 87 gt,and it had a 1990 3.0 taurus computer with a hypertech chip running it.

what year is your mustang, and you said it was originally a 4 cyl?

doesn't have any ***** cause it's a non -h.o set up

thats what got me to want to find out about the car.my friends have mustangs and mines alot slower.i then got to looking at the firing order and i pulled the computer out to see what the numbers were on it.cars also an 87

I wouldn't waste the energy trying to find out what it is, more so use the energy to revamp that ride

well im gonna carb it anyways.but i just wanting to get it running good till then.and my iac is bad and i cant even buy one of those cause i dont know what kind of cars it for.

if your car is and 87 and your computer is an E8 that means 88. so its out of an 88 or newer ford vehicle. any good parts guy at your local parts store should be able to help you identify your iac and quite possibly cross reference your computer. but if your gonna put a carb setup on it the i wouldnt even worry about trying to figure out what efi parts need fixin.

but i think the computer you have is out of a lincoln town car 88 or 89

I think the S in E8S is 1988 T-Bird/Cougar. "A" is for big car such as Crown Vic, TownCar, Etc.

well after searching forever,i decided to look on ebay once again and i found out that its a 88 lincoln towncar computer.
