speedo prob
 

I just swapped a tremec 3550 in my 94 gt and now my speedo is off. i took the gear out of my t5 and put it in the 3550 but there is a plug on the tailshaft of the 3550 that i dont have anything to plug into it? how do i fix this probem

you should be able to just transfer over the drive assembley.

i had the speedo gear out of my t5 and i put it in the housing of the tremec 3550 but the speedo is off for some reason? could it be because the gearing in the tranny is different than a t5? the t5 has like 2.95 1st gear and the tremec has like 3.27 1st and so on?

you'll need to play around with different gears on the end until you get the closest average

i think i will be ok if i take the gear that was on the tremec and put it back on there instead of puttting the one off of my t5
