keeping it fuel injected will be very tough. i dont see many (if any) EFI parts for 460. i suggest either go carbed or go 351W

Think trucks not cars for the 460 (7.5L). '96 F-350 (and other years) had the 460 available and was fuel injected. All years after '85 or '86 were fuel injected. As to the question of availability of performance parts, I don't know, but I'd suggest looking at truck sites.

you do know its going to be really hard to get the 460 in the engine bay and have a suspension to even handle that much weight on the front end of the car. You will have to cut the shock towers and have custom fab parts to get it to work

Buddy's dad did a 460 in a Fox body...back end was tubbed, I forget what he did with the front end because it's been a few years since I've seen it...but I know he didn't have to hack up a bunch of stuff to do it.

The problem you'll have is lack of Fuel Injected performance parts for 460. You'd be better off doing a 351 based stroker motor honestly...it would be far better than stock items on an FI 460.

If you want big block power get a 500 or 472CID caddy engine from 1968-1971. There dirt cheap, and the 500 CID version from '71 puts out 400HP and 550TQ (that's bone stock). Plus their are alot of performance shops sprining up that recognize these motors. It won't be much harder to do than the 460 swap but it will be alot cheaper. For tech help on swaps and to talk to quys who have done it, go to Maximum Torque Specialties
Ther is a guy there who has a big block caddy in a fox.
