plug size

Default plug size

my heater tube started to leak so i want to remove it and plug it up, does anybody know the size of plug it could be and also would my temp sensor work right it i relocate it to the neck of of the thermo heres a pic of where i want to relocate temp sensor

The bottom tube is the Inlet tube and that's 3/4"
The top tube is the Outlet tube and that's 5/8".

I recently looped my heater hoses together with a 5/8 flush connector as the core blew in my 92
